Last week, we told you about KSA Global Stage’s registration for the FIT 2026 (Footvia International Tournament). But long before that, we will be attending another tournament that has been very special, especially for Kaptiva Sports Academy. In this case, the Surf Cup will welcome KSA Global Stage in autumn.
It is a pleasure for Kaptiva Sports to bring together players from our Experiences to form, more than a team, a family that will enjoy authentic football for a week. Above all, rather than results, the aim is to have fun in this unique experience and to promote teamwork.
Surf Cup 2025, new teams for quality football
As you know, the Surf Cup is a youth football tournament that takes place in Salou. In its 2024 edition, we attended with several teams from Kaptiva Sports Academy. This year, the Kaptiva Sports Academy Global Stage teams will be representing us.
The trip organised with Kaptiva Sports will run from 23rd November to 1st December. We always offer a few days beforehand so that the teams can train and the coaches can develop the right strategies for each team.
In total, there will be five boys’ teams (U10, U11, U12, U13, U14) and three girls’ teams (U12, U14, U16). They will be able to train on the days set out in the calendar, and their families will also be able to enjoy cultural activities such as a city tour of Barcelona or the FCB Museum Experience.
Kaptiva Sports’ goal: to enjoy the tournament
Let’s be clear, winning a match is always positive, and advancing in a tournament is synonymous with effort and quality. This is due to the joint work between players and coaches, as well as the support of families for their children. But it is not the main objective.
Living this experience is a unique opportunity. That is why we encourage parents and players to enjoy every match, to fight for it and to learn from their mistakes. If the team advances to the next round, we will continue working hard to maintain our momentum, and if they are eliminated, we will analyse the results so we can improve, and we will cheer on the other teams.
