From the end of May to the beginning of June, many families have been able to enjoy the experience of Real Madrid Foundation Training Clinics. Cultural activities around the city of Madrid and its surroundings, and the classic training sessions at the club’s facilities have filled these wonderful days full of football.
During these three weeks, starting last 24th May until Saturday 14th June, three training clinics have been held with the Real Madrid Foundation. We are going to detail all the activities that have taken place.
The best training sessions with the best coaches
Apart from the Kaptiva staff, the training sessions had official coaches from the Real Madrid academy. This helped the boys and girls to understand the methodology and to adopt the values of the club.
Above all, apart from individual improvement, the aim was to promote team play and empathy towards teammates. The coaches promoted group cohesion while teaching techniques and strategies for the different real-life situations that occur on a football pitch.
Coming from the United States and Canada, the players were also able to enjoy two special sessions. These were run by Kaptiva coaches, using our own methodology. In addition, parents were also able to come and watch some of the training sessions, supporting their children and enjoying the day.
Cultural and gastronomic activities around Madrid
Training Clinics are not just about football. You will have seen this in our past posts on the Arsenal clinics in London or the Paris Saint-Germain clinics in Paris. There are a multitude of activities, some included for everyone and some extra ones worth exploring.
All the families enjoyed the city tour of Madrid. The chance to explore with a guide the most emblematic places of this great city is always a pleasure. Likewise, being able to see the Bernabéu and its museum in all its splendour is an opportunity not to be missed.
In addition, as always, there are extra cultural activities. In this case, while the kids were training, the relatives were able to visit the emblematic cities of Toledo and Segovia. Without a doubt, they soaked up history in the company of other wonderful guides.
In addition, it was also about eating well. A paella workshop and a wine tasting were the extra activities to soak up the gastronomy of Madrid.
The sensations experienced during all these weeks have been unique, both on the part of the staff and the families. We hope to see them again soon and relive the experience of Real Madrid Foundation Training Clinics, and that the bitter goodbyes end up turning into long-awaited reunions.
