The time has come to say goodbye. The fifth edition of the MADCUP has ended with a fantastic closing ceremony. Our teams have given their all and have been satisfied with a spectacular tournament. This has been the MADCUP 2025: an unforgettable experience that we hope to repeat next year.
First of all, we highlight the fact that our teams of standout players from Kaptiva-organized events have represented Kaptiva, through Kaptiva Sports Academy. More than 840 teams from 41 countries gathered in the Community of Madrid, bringing together more than 15,000 players. A total of 2,400 matches were played in more than 30 venues.
A week full of football and activities
The trip of the boys and girls who were preparing to go to the field began last June 17. The families arrived at the airport and the Welcome Meeting was held.
For three days, various training sessions were held with the players. In this way, also thanks to the work of the KSA coaches, they got to know each other in order to enhance team play.
On the 18th, the tour of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, Atletico Madrid’s stadium, took place. The following day, the 19th, the relatives enjoyed a Psychology Workshop in the morning. In the afternoon, the city of Madrid welcomed the families with a spectacular tour.
During the last days of the tournament, the party and the closing ceremony were also held, with all kinds of surprises. On June 26, the families finally left the hotel and returned home.
A tournament full of emotions
We already told you from the Kaptiva Sports Academy blog that tournaments are a way to grow and that results are secondary. Even so, our teams knew how to defend themselves and give the size against high category rivals.

All of them, as if they were a family, took care to show empathy, perseverance and constant effort throughout the week. Both in training and in the matches of the tournament, the boys and girls represented the true and beautiful values that football is governed by. Without a doubt, we will always remember MADCUP 2025: an unforgettable experience.
