Another opportunity to access the best experiences at Kaptiva Sports is coming. New players will be able to attend the new KS Showcase in May 2026 to demonstrate their skills. This will allow them to be evaluated by our coaches and give them the chance to join the Kaptiva Sports Academy or the Global Stage teams.
Thanks to this opportunity, boys and girls will be able to compete in Europe in some of the best and most important tournaments, such as the Surf Cup, Costa Girona Cup, FIT, etc. In fact, we recently published the team rosters for FIT 2026 on the KSA blog, and you can also find information on our blog about the new tournament we will be attending with Global Stage: the USA Cup.
New KS Showcase in Spain
Kaptiva Sports Spain Showcase is a short-stay program designed for prospective players and their families to gain firsthand experience of what Kaptiva Sports has to offer. It will take place from May 25 to 29 in Barcelona. During these multi-day trial training sessions and a friendly match, players will be evaluated by the KSA football coaches.
As we have mentioned, there is the possibility of being selected for Kaptiva Sports Academy or the Global Stage teams. In the first case, boys born between 2009 and 2012 will be considered. As a reminder, Kaptiva Sports Academy is a high-performance residential soccer academy located in Barcelona, Spain, that has been developing players since 2012.
On the other hand, both boys and girls can be selected for KS Global Stage, provided they were born between 2013 and 2016. They will represent us at different events and tournaments during the 26/27 season. We remind you that selected players are invited to compete in top-level tournaments across Europe and the United States alongside professional teams.
Tentative schedule for the upcoming KS Showcase
Below is the tentative schedule for the upcoming KS Showcase. After arrivals and the welcome meeting, training will begin on the second day at KSA facilities. There will also be a football program presentation and a mental coach interview. In the afternoon, training will take place at FC Barcelona’s facilities.
On the third day, after training at KSA, the boys will receive a master class and a KSA Tour. After lunch, they will enjoy a friendly match with a local club. The fourth day will be very similar, replacing the KSA Tour with a tour of the school, and in the afternoon another training session at Barcelona’s facilities and a tour of the club’s stadium and museum.
On the last day, Friday, there will be time for a final training session at KSA and to receive feedback from the coaches. After that, the players will begin to return home. Some people will also travel the next day, after an extra night.
Accommodation is offered at the Sant Cugat hotel (4 stars), which is a 10-minute walk from KSA.
