Although the families did not know it when they landed in Paris in the last weeks in May, they were going to spend a whole week with the club that was going to win the Champions League. For Kaptiva Sports, we are proud to say that families enjoy PSG clinics in Paris, training in their facilities and discovering the French capital.
It has been two fantastic clinics, two weeks of emotions, cultural activities and lots and lots of football. From the arrival at the airport to the tour of Paris Saint-Germain’s facilities, the families enjoyed unique moments they will never forget.
Training sessions with Paris Saint-Germain coaches
The boys and girls from the US and Canada were lucky enough to train in a fantastic facility (Marcel Bec) with the official coaches of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy.
Two training sessions a day seemed to be not enough for the hunger for football that the little ones had. They were always full of energy and wanted more and more. In addition, they were able to enjoy a more playful teambuilding day with ball games to get to know each other and build friendships.
At the end of the week, the closing ceremony was held at the facilities, with photocalls and a walk-through of each team, greeting the staff and the best possible audience: their parents. Here the families had the opportunity to talk to the team leaders and coaches about their children.
Cultural activities in Paris
On the other hand, parents also had the opportunity to enjoy Paris. For example, with the activities aimed at everyone, such as the city tour. Visiting the pyramids of the Louvre Museum or the Eiffel Tower was a luxury that many celebrated with family photos.
But there were also extra activities with a limited number of places. The excursion to Montmartre, a food tour of exquisite French sweets and being able to see the palace and gardens of Versailles was a real experience for everyone.
Of course, all the parents had free time to visit the city on their own. In addition, the location of our hotel (Novotel Paris La Esplanade La Defense) allowed pleasant walks along with nearby stores and restaurants.
In short, a double experience that was unique and unrepeatable, only matched by the next clinics to come. The emotion of sharing the values of Paris Saint-Germain will leave all those who have already enjoyed this adventure eager to repeat it.
